380kg Saudi man dies of pneumonia

Majed Al-Dossary, a Saudi man who was suffering from obesity with a weight of 380 kg, died at Dammam Central Hospital Tuesday after he developed pneumonia last Friday, hospital sources said.
Doctors failed to save Al-Dossary’s life, one source said, adding that there was a plan to airlift him to the US for advanced treatment.
A team of doctors had come from the US and conducted a number of medical tests on him, the source said.
Al-Dossary died after he suffered acute oxygen shortage in blood. He did not respond to the medication and his condition became worse.
