United Airways received Business Asia Most Respected Company Award 2013

United AirUnited Airways (BD) Limited has received “Business Asia Most Respected Company Award 2013”.  Capt. Tasbirul Ahmed Choudhury, Chairman and Managing Director of United Airways (BD) Ltd received the Most Respected Company Award-2013 from Honorable Minister, Ministry of Industry Mr. Dilip Burua, Mr. H T Imam, Advisor to the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Mr. Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, President of FBCCI, Ms. Giti Ara Safia Chowdhury, Ex-Advisor of Caretaker Government on October 04, 2013. The award was given by the Publications of Monthly Business Asia.
Since first flight of United on 10th July 2007, United Airways has achieved various prestigious awards, Development for Bangladesh Council at the House of Commons London for best Investment by the Bangladeshi British Expatriates-2010. United Airways also received Desher Kagoj Business Award-2007, Begum Rokeya Shining Personality Award-2007, Arthakantha Business Award-2008, 2011, 2012 and 2013 in Airline Sector, Business Express Business Award-2009, Monitor Domestic Airline of the Year 2010, 2012, NRB Recognition Award- 2012, Business Asia Most Respected Company Award-2012, Mirror Aviation Business Award-2013 and Sylhet Ratna Foundation Award 2013.
United Airways, the first ever public limited company in aviation sector of Bangladesh, is now operating international routes from Dhaka to Jeddah, Dubai, Muscat, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, Kathmandu and Kolkata and also from Chittagong to Muscat and Kolkata. The airline is operating flights to all major domestic sectors from Dhaka.
Now United Airways (BD) Ltd. has total 11 aircraft which are one DASH 8-100, three ATR-72, five MD-83 and two Airbus-310.
