Bangladesh beat Pakistan by 37 runs to seal a spot in the finals of Asia Cup 2018. This is Bangladesh’s third final in four seasons of the continental and in a repeat of 2016, Bangladesh will face India on Friday with the Asia Cup title on the line.

Batting first the Tigers posted a competitive 239 courtesy of Mushfiqur Rahim’s 99. Bangladesh made an early dent into the Pakistan chase of 240 runs removing Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, and Sarfraz Ahmed. While Imam Ul Haq scored a well made 83 it wasn’t enough as the innings folded for 202/9 in 50 overs. Mustafizur Rahman picked 4/43 while Mehidy Hasan was equally brilliant with 2/28.
