Egypt denies Kuwaiti aid entry into Gaza
The governmental committee charged with receiving delegates in Gaza denounced the Egyptian authorities for denying a Kuwaiti aid delegation entry into the Strip.
The committee, affiliated with the Palestinian Ministry for Foreign Affairs, said in a press release yesterday that the Egyptian authorities decided to prevent the four-member Kuwaiti delegation which was carrying urgent medical aid from entering Gaza.
“This action is not appropriate in the difficult circumstances that Gaza is witnessing as a result of the brutal Zionist aggression,” the statement added.
The committee called on Egypt to open the Rafah crossing permanently and allow delegations and aid convoys to enter Gaza to provide aid to Palestinian victims.
Egypt has allowed less than 10 aid convoys into Gaza since the beginning of the Israeli attack on July 7.
