2 killed, 3 injured in brawl over pair of shoes

Two men were stabbed to death by their compatriots while three others were injured in a brawl on Saturday after an argument over a pair of shoes. The fight broke out at a labour accommodation in Sharjah industrial area No 1 where a group of workers from Bangladesh started a heated argument over the ownership of a pair of shoes which one of them was wearing.
One of them grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the other in the chest. The others involved also got hold of knives and attacked each other. The fight left two dead and three injured.
The injured men were transferred to Al Kuwaiti Hospital for treatment where their condition is reported to be stable.
