OIC Secretary General in Dhaka on a 3day visit

As part of the tour to four OIC member states, Secretary General of Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) Iyad Ameen Madani has landed in Dhaka on Saturday for a three day official visit.
A six member delegation, led by the secretary is on the tour in Bangladesh. The foreign ministry press release regarding this visit said that this is the second visit of the secretary in Bangladesh.
Madani will call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday morning and also meet Foreign Minister A H Mahmood Ali in the afternoon of the same day.
He is expected to visit International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (ICDDRB).
During the tour, he will brief the Bangladesh leaders on the programmes, initiatives, and cooperation agenda undertaken by the Secretary General and expected to exchange views on situation and issues relating to the Islamic Ummah.
