UK Space Agency asks kids to create meal fit for an astronaut
The UK Space Agency is launching a competition for children to design a meal for a British astronaut to take into space. Major Tim Peake, who is due to start a six-month mission to the International Space Station (ISS) next year, says he would like something that was “nutritional, healthy, tastes good and has bit of British-ness about it”.
The competition is open to children between the ages of 7 and 14, and the winning contestants will be invited to develop their ideas with celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal. -Pallab Ghosh reports. BBC
