Individuals were questioned to check if they had the right to be in the UK.<br \/>\nAt Amia, which was visited at about 10:15, officers arrested a 24-year-old Indian woman who was found to be working in breach of her visa conditions.<br \/>\nThey then visited Londis at 11:45. There, they arrested two Sri Lankan nationals. A 27-year-old man was working in breach of his visa conditions while a woman, also aged 27, was not found to be working but arrested for an immigration offence.<br \/>\nAll those arrested were detained pending removal from the country.<br \/>\nThe businesses were served notices warning that a civil penalty of up to \u00a310,000 per illegal worker found will be imposed unless proof is provided that the correct right-to-work checks were carried out.
