{"id":4022,"date":"2015-03-09T18:27:56","date_gmt":"2015-03-09T18:27:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/english.thesunrisetoday.com\/?p=4022"},"modified":"2015-03-09T18:27:56","modified_gmt":"2015-03-09T18:27:56","slug":"missing-british-girls-families-demand-apology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/english.thesunrisetoday.com\/index.php\/missing-british-girls-families-demand-apology\/","title":{"rendered":"Missing British girl&#8217;s families demand apology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/english.thesunrisetoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Shamima.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-3937\" src=\"http:\/\/english.thesunrisetoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Shamima.jpg\" alt=\"Shamima\" width=\"282\" height=\"209\" srcset=\"https:\/\/english.thesunrisetoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Shamima.jpg 493w, https:\/\/english.thesunrisetoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Shamima-300x223.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 282px) 100vw, 282px\" \/><\/a>The families of three missing British teenaged girls, who reportedly crossed into Syria to join ISIL, have demanded an apology from British police for accusing them of lying, a lawyer representing the families said Monday.<br \/>\nShamima Begum, 15, Amira Abase, 15, and Kadiza Sultana, 16, left Bethnal Green Academy in east London in early February for Turkey and then reportedly crossed into Syria to join the extremist group.<br \/>\nBefore they went missing, British police reportedly had handed over the three girls a letter dated Feb. 2 that asked them to seek permission from their families about giving deposition to authorities concerning the case of another missing British girl, who too left the U.K. in 2014 to join ISIL.<br \/>\nThe girls did not show that letter to their parents and after they went missing, the families complained and accused the police of negligence for not approaching them directly with the letter.
