\"UK<\/a>The UK is set to host the first-ever international exhibition on Muslim lifestyle looking at one of the world\u2019s fastest growing segments worth trillions of pounds globally.
\nThe two-day event will showcase over 70 exhibitors from sectors such as fashion, food and drink, travel, finance, creative arts and health and beauty from across the world.
\nIt also hopes to attract consumers from across the UK and international companies looking to tap into the growth potential of the Muslim lifestyle sector.
\nThe interactive event will also feature a live fashion show called MLE Live, and innovation hub for aspiring technology entrepreneurs, seminars, workshops and a kids zone.
\nA recent report by Thomson Reuters reported global expenditure of Muslim consumers on food and lifestyle sectors grew 9.5% to \u00a31.36 trillion at the end of 2013.
\nTahir Mirza, founder of the Expo, said \u201cThe Expo is a great opportunity to showcase the growth of all the Muslim lifestyle sectors to an international audience.
\n\u201cThe exhibition is aimed at being a family-friendly and culturally diverse event and to promote the positive and vibrant aspects of British Muslims.
\n\u201cOur aim is to showcase the value of the Muslim lifestyle in a fun and enjoyable way and is an inclusive event for all and welcomes people from all faiths and backgrounds The Expo is a perfect platform to connect businesses to consumers who are seeking growth in this lucrative sector from across the world especially as the UK is a key market.\u201d
\nThe event, which will take place at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry will include a networking event with speeches by entrepreneurs and business experts to equip delegates with market intelligence, industry forecasts and trends to understand how to market to the Muslim consumer.
\nThe Muslim Lifestyle Expo will be held at the Ricoh Arena on from August 1 to August 2.
\nThe Expo has already attracted sponsors such as Al Rayaan Bank, Human Appeal International and Penny Appeal. The Expo organisers are also supporting Zoe\u2019s Children\u2019s Hospice in Coventry as one of their charity partners.
\nJane McGaffney, from Zo\u00eb’s Place Baby Hospice in Coventry, said: \u201cThe Muslim Lifestyle Expo will bring much needed awareness as the only baby specific hospice in the West Midlands along with funds that we so desperately need to ensure that our families get the help and support they need.’
\nAngela Perkins, head of sales at the Ricoh Arena, said: \u201cThis is the first event of its kind so interest is expected to be high among exhibitors and visitors.\u201d<\/p>\n
