{"id":4575,"date":"2015-05-31T22:22:03","date_gmt":"2015-05-31T21:22:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/english.thesunrisetoday.com\/?p=4575"},"modified":"2015-05-31T22:22:03","modified_gmt":"2015-05-31T21:22:03","slug":"bangladesh-maldives-to-set-up-joint-commissions-to-boost-trade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/english.thesunrisetoday.com\/index.php\/bangladesh-maldives-to-set-up-joint-commissions-to-boost-trade\/","title":{"rendered":"Bangladesh-Maldives to set up joint commissions to boost trade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bangladesh and the Maldives have decided to set up three joint commissions on trade, economy and fisheries to strengthen the existing bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two friendly countries.<br \/>\nRear Admiral Kazi Sarwar Hossain, Bangladesh High Commissioner to the Maldives said this during a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Sunday.<br \/>\nDuring the meeting, the high commissioner informed the President of the activities of the Bangladesh High Commission in Male and informed the President that the Maldives wants to recruit 67 more doctors from Bangladesh.<br \/>\nHe also said that the High Commission has set up a Free-Friday clinic and a community club for the welfare of the expatriate Bangladeshis living there.<br \/>\nThe high commissioner told the President that steps have been taken to launch the High Commission\u2019s website and that the commission has started attestation of the employment approvals by the Maldives government.<br \/>\nPresident Abdul Hamid told the envoy to continue to work in friendly diplomacy to strengthen the relations between the two brotherly countries.
