{"id":48402,"date":"2018-11-07T16:57:13","date_gmt":"2018-11-07T16:57:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/english.thesunrisetoday.com\/?p=48402"},"modified":"2018-11-07T17:02:43","modified_gmt":"2018-11-07T17:02:43","slug":"british-nurse-dies-on-holiday-in-dubai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/english.thesunrisetoday.com\/index.php\/british-nurse-dies-on-holiday-in-dubai\/","title":{"rendered":"British nurse dies on holiday in Dubai"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-48403\" src=\"https:\/\/english.thesunrisetoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Charlotte-Carter.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"268\" height=\"188\" \/>A British nurse has died on holiday in Dubai after falling ill during a flight from Gatwick to the UAE and her condition worsened on her way to visit her friend.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Charlotte Carter, 30, from south Wales started to feel unwell while the plane was in transit and was rushed into intensive care after she fell further ill in a taxi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to her friends, the mental health nurse was resuscitated \u201cmultiple times\u201d but later died in hospital.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"alignleft quote-simple \"><p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script> <!-- Automatic size Responsive --> <ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-1234237307185872\" data-ad-slot=\"7381563475\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins> <script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One of her friends, Megan Boyes, who has set up a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justgiving.com\/crowdfunding\/bringcharlottehome\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">crowdfunding page<\/a> to help with medical and repatriation costs, said: \u201cOur gorgeous friend Charlotte tragically lost her life at the age of 30.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cShe was so excited to go on holiday to Dubai on a girls trip but sadly she fell ill on the flight which resulted in her being taken to intensive care once arriving in Dubai.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAfter being resuscitated multiple times she unfortunately couldn\u2019t be saved.
