\"Cameron\"<\/a>British Prime Minister David Cameron has greeted Muslims around the world ahead of their biggest religious festival Eid-ul-Fitr.
\nCameron urged families and friends who come together to celebrate the festival to think about \u201cthe better Britain and world we must build together\u201d.
\n\u201cThis Ramadan, we\u2019ve seen the very best of British Muslim values,\u201d he said.
\n\u201cWe\u2019ve seen unprecedented charity \u2013 zakat \u2013 with thousands upon thousands of pounds raised for the needy\u201d.
\nHe said Britain had also seen \u201ccommunity spirit with inventive ways of breaking the fast with people of all faiths\u201d.
\nHe wished all \u201ca happy and peaceful\u201d Eid.
\nThe Prime Minister, however, recalled the sufferings of Muslims in Syria and Iraq during the Ramadan at the hands of ISIL and Assad.
\nHe also recalled the victims of terrorism at Kobane, Kuwait mosque, and on the Tunisia beach.
\n\u201cThis terrorism is not just an assault on those victims. It\u2019s not just an assault on Islam, whose good name it tarnishes. It\u2019s an assault on us all, on our way of life, and we must defeat it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
