The company is intending to employ 120 new employees to work there.<br \/>\nThe Ilford recruitment will contribute to the 900 workers which the Metro Bank intends to recruit in the UK this year, which will take its number of employees close to 4,000.<br \/>\nThe Metro Bank pays a great deal of attention to attitude when it recruits \u2013 and runs its own internal training and education system \u2013 the Metro Bank University \u2013 to improve employees\u2019 knowledge and skills. The system seems to be paying off, as the Metro Bank has a high level of internal promotion.<br \/>\nCraig Donaldson, CEO at Metro Bank, commented, \u201cIt was less than six months ago that we opened our doors in Ilford and the response we\u2019ve had from local residents and businesses has been amazing.
