\"YoungA Europe-wide event to break fears and prejudices against Muslims and to promote empathy was launched in London\u2019s central King\u2019s Cross Station on Thursday.
\nYoung Muslims\u2019 stand in front of the station was visited by people who would like to get informed about the event.
\n\u201cThis week, the Islamic Community Milli Gorus (ICMG) organization will have thousands of young Muslims living in Europe, Australia and Canada, out on the streets delivering their \u2018Hello, I am a Muslim\u2019 message to introduce themselves,\u201d a press release said.
\n\u201cContacting people individually is the most natural and the best way of promoting understanding and empathy,\u201d the release issued by ICMG said.
\n\u201cWe have prepared the \u2018Hello, I am a Muslim\u2019 events to encourage mutual communication and co-operation between Muslims and non-Muslims,” said Kemal Ergun, the group\u2019s president.
\nThe event will see young Muslims promoting mutual understanding in public places in various countries including Germany, the Netherlands, France and Austria.
\nThe event will also see the participation from more than 500 mosques across Europe, according to the ICMG statement.<\/p>\n
