Maulana Nizami’s verdict any day

Tribunal is set to deliver its verdict against Jamaat-e-Islami chief Maulana Motiur Rahman Nizami any day over his crimes against humanity committed during the Liberation War in 1971.
The International Crimes Tribunal-1 headed by Justice M Enayetur Rahim drew curtains down on the trial after end of the argument session on Monday.
On June 29, 2010, Maulana Nizami was arrested in front of the National Press Club. The tribunal on May 28, 2012, indicted the Jamaat ameer for committing the 1971 crimes against humanity.
Later, responding to a prosecution plea, the tribunal on July 22 showed him arrested in connection with the war crimes case.
