British Explorer Alice Morrison to Embark on Historic 2,500-Km Journey Across Saudi Arabia

British explorer and television presenter Alice Morrison is set to embark on a pioneering 2,500-kilometer journey across Saudi Arabia. Starting on January 1, 2025, her five-month expedition will take her from the Kingdom’s northernmost point to its southernmost tip, making her the first person to undertake such a feat. Morrison will be accompanied by local guides and camels throughout the journey.
This expedition follows her recent series, “Arabian Adventure: The Secrets of the Nabateans,” which aired earlier this year on the BBC and featured AlUla. Morrison is also keen to connect with Saudi women during her journey, aiming to foster cultural exchange and understanding.
Her journey aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, which seeks to promote tourism and showcase the Kingdom’s rich cultural heritage and natural landscapes to the world.
