Seven pilgrims died at ijtema

Seven pilgrims died on the Biswa Ijtema grounds on the bank of river Turag at Tongi in Gazipur from Friday to early Saturday. Two devotees died of old age complications at the Ijtema venue on Friday night.
The deceased were identified as Nur Mohammad, 70, hailed from Sonaimuri upazila of Noakhali district, and Mozibur Rahman, 55, son of Mukhlesur Rahman.
With the two, a total of seven devotees died at the venue of the 2nd phase Biswa Ijtema.
After Fajr prayers the Namaz-e-janaza of the two devotees was arranged on the Ijtema ground. The two bodies were handed over to their family members.
