Ershad mourns death of Saudi King

Former President and Jatiya Party Chairman Hussein Muhammad Ershad today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, said a party release here today.
In a condolence message, the former president said “I am extremely hurt to hear the death news of Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. He [the King] was my personal and real friend of Bangladesh.”
He said the Muslim World has lost a vigorous leader of the Muslim.
Ershad also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul of the deceased Saudi King and conveyed profound sympathy to his bereaved family members and the Saudi people as well, the release added.
