President mourns death of Saudi King

President Abdul Hamid today expressed deep shock at the death of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques His Majesty King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
“On behalf of the people of Bangladesh and on my own behalf, I express my deepest condolences on the sad passing away of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques His Majesty King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. It is, indeed, an irreparable loss for the Royal family, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Muslim Ummah and the whole world,” the President said in a message sent to the new Custodian of Two Holy Mosques and King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
“We, in Bangladesh, recall the graciousness of the late King towards Bangladesh particularly for her citizens working in the Kingdom,” he said.
“The people of Bangladesh join me in praying for his eternal peace and the highest place for him in the paradise,” Abdul Hamid said in his message.
“May the Royal Family and the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia have the strength to bear this tragic loss with fortitude,” he added.
